We put all our efforts into adjusting NOVUS® offer to meet the highest customers' needs, that is why the NMS application is continuously developed and improved. We are really glad to inform you that we have recently released a new version of the NMS (NOVUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM).
The introduction of the new version involves changing the terms of use of the software. Beginning from this version each copy of the NMS application must be registered. An unregistered copy works only up to 60 days (demo up to 30 days). Registration is free of charge, after registration you will receive a licence and you will be able to use the program as usual. Detailed registration information can be found in the NMS software manual and on the website specially designed for copy registration www.nmsip.com
Apart from the registration duty, in the new NMS version we have improved some functionalities and added new ones:
- 3 variants of the NMS software – Client, Server or Standalone
While installing the NMS application, the user must select 1 from 3 available software variants:
- Client – allows live video monitoring and playback of a recorded material
- Server – allows recording of a material and sharing it with clients
- Standalone – it is a combination of Client and Server variants, most similar to previous NMS versions
- Reduction of delays during PTZ control
- ADPCM, G726ADPCM, PCM codecs’ support for export to .avi
- Export of recorded material with audio to .avi files
